Triumph 5551EP Hydraulic Paper Cutter Review
The Triumph 5551EP Hydraulic Paper Cutter has the capability to cut a 21-1/2" wide sheet, and a stack of materials as thick as 3-5/8". It offers the same features as the popular Triumph 550-EP cutter, but with the added benefit of safety light beams to protect the operator and help you perfectly align your paper, as well as an automatic back gauge that advances to the next cut automatically. A hydraulic blade and adjustable hydraulic clamp drive, the clamp is guided on both sides to apply even pressure along entire cutting width and is fully adjustable between 1,900 and 3,800 psi and includes a false clamp and foot pedal for pre-clamping. The programmable EP back gauge control module stores up to 99 programs.
The high storage capacity, programmable "EP" back gauge control module has a 10 button keypad and LED display that stores up to 99 programs with up to 99 steps each and frequently used measurements. Up to 9 repeat cuts can be integrated into a program in a single step. The digital measurement readout can be set for cm or inches and is accurate to 1/10 mm or 1/100 inch. The control module features repeat cut and eject functions, a "set" function key for reference measurement, and a self-diagnostic system with error indication on the display. The HSS Solingen steel blade that offers precision swing-cut blade movement with solid steel blade carrier and adjustable blade guides. Additional great features include repeat cut function, eject function, "set" function key and self-diagnostic system with error indication.
The Triumph 5551EP Hydraulic Cutter features an electric, spindle-guided back gauge drive that can be controlled with an electronic hand wheel, offering variable speed control for manual back gauge settings. The cutter is mounted on rolling casters and is all-metal construction with durable stainless steel work surface on the front and rear of the cutter. Optional side tables with stainless steel surface extend work area are available. The 551EP Cutter comes standard with 1 HSS Solingen steel blade (Installed), a knife changing tool, 2 keys, a paper knock-up block, and a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. It measures 42-1/16"W x 55-1/16"D x 54"H and weighs 673 pounds. It is UL, C UL and CE certified.

How do I check for the presence of a LPT1 dongle key on a 486 running DOS 6.22?
Is there a program or a set of debug commands that will show me if the dongle has been broken. Ah, vertical industry CNC equipment. It sure is amazing what's still running, ain't it? I'm afraid to say you may want to dredge up a hardware hacker on this one. Debug would help, but you'd need to know how to manually poke it and transfer bits to and fro. I'm sure there's better tools, but again, try asking where the real experts are
